Started by a City firm solicitor in 2004 after 15+ years at Linklaters and Ashurst, who was joined by his former colleague at Ashurst with 35+ years of emloyment tribunal advocacy experience, Sugiyama & Co has been building a strong and growing reputation in the field of contentious and non-contentious employment based on its extensive experience, personal attention and its down-to-earth commercial approach. Our two lawyers each has a strong client following ranging from large international corporations to small and medium-sized businesses and a good share of private individuals. They are mostly regular clients who first came to us thorough the words of mouth.

When we worked in the City, we often had to turn smaller potential clients away. We would love to have helped them but the City fee structure meant that it was just simply uneconomical for us to get involved. We have now been freed up from the City overheads.
